The first business accelerator of its kind — from Oman to the GCC

Your company in Oman,
fully operatable from day one.

Most founders assemble a company from nine or ten separate suppliers and hope the pieces fit together. GBN delivers the whole thing — the business name and identity, the digital assets, the operating template library, the Riyada Knowledge Bank and access to our Partner Network — as one engagement, in twenty-four hours. Registration itself stays where it belongs: with a licensed lawyer or sanad office, and we will introduce you to one.

The handover pack

What a GBN client owns on day one

Not a proposal. Not a plan. Assets.

1A business name cleared four ways — register, domain, handles, and a check for conflicting marks
2A clear registration roadmap, and the licensed Omani partner to execute it
3A complete visual identity and brand book, bilingual
4The domain, business email and a live site, all in your name
5One unified username, secured across every platform in your package
6The template library, the Knowledge Bank and Partner Network rates

The problem we exist to solve

Starting a company is not one decision. It is a sequence of them.

And in Oman today, almost every one of them is procured from a different person, on a different timeline, with nobody responsible for whether the result holds together.

01 — Fragmentation

Nine suppliers, one founder

A sanad office for the paperwork. A lawyer for the contracts. An accountant. A designer for the logo. Someone's cousin for the website. A reseller for the domain. A freelancer for social media. A print house. A translator. Each one is a separate negotiation, a separate invoice and a separate risk — carried entirely by the founder.

02 — Sequencing

The name is chosen last, and paid for first

The commercial name is registered. Then the founder discovers the .com was taken in 2014, the Instagram handle belongs to a dormant account in Manila, and a similar mark is already on the register. The company now has two identities: the legal one and the real one. Reconciling them later costs more than getting it right would have.

03 — The empty company

Registered, but not operatable

The CR is issued and the founder is congratulated. Then the first hire needs an employment contract. The first client needs a quotation and an invoice. The first supplier wants an NDA. None of it exists. Year one is spent building documents instead of building the business.

None of this is a failure of effort. It is a failure of architecture.

The founder is asked to be the systems integrator for their own company, on the single occasion in their life when they have the least experience doing it. GBN takes that role — and the accountability that comes with it.

Hour 24: everything on one desk — and all of it yours.

What we do

Four pillars. One accountable partner.

Every service GBN offers sits inside one of four pillars. Together they form everything a business needs in order to legally exist, be recognised, operate, be found, and be sustained.

Establish

01

The legal existence of the business — named correctly, structured correctly, and filed through licensed Omani partners.

  • Commercial name strategy & screening
  • Legal structure guidance
  • Commercial registration pathway
  • Government procedure guidance
  • Trademark guidance & filing support

Identity

02

How the business is recognised — a complete bilingual identity system, not a logo file emailed at midnight.

  • Brand strategy & positioning
  • Logo & full corporate identity
  • Arabic/English brand typography
  • Brand book & usage rules
  • Stationery, NFC cards, print-ready files

Operate

03

The documents a company needs on the same day it exists — drafted once, properly, in both languages.

  • HR pack: contracts, policies, appraisals
  • Sales pack: quotations, invoices, proposals
  • Legal pack: NDAs, supplier & service agreements
  • Governance: board and shareholder templates
  • Administrative & finance forms

Presence

04

Where the business is found — owned by the client, matched to the legal name, and built to be searchable from day one.

  • Domain acquisition & DNS
  • Business email on your own domain
  • Website or high-conversion landing page
  • Unified social handles across platforms
  • Search foundations & local SEO

The GBN method

The Four‑Lock Name Check

Our name is Gulf Business Names for a reason. The name is the single decision that constrains every decision after it — and it is the one most often made in the wrong order.

Before a single riyal is spent on registration, GBN tests every candidate name against four independent locks. A name only advances when all four open. If a name we clear is later rejected at registration, we run the entire process again at no cost.

01

Register

Is the name available and admissible for commercial registration in Oman — spelling, transliteration, restricted words, activity match, and Arabic/English equivalence?

02

Domain

Is the matching .com obtainable — and if not, is there a defensible alternative that will not permanently split the brand from its address?

03

Handle

Is one consistent username available across every platform that matters — and can it be secured immediately, before the name becomes public?

04

Name

Does a conflicting or confusingly similar trademark already exist? Conflict signals are surfaced before commitment, and formal advice is referred to our legal partners.

Screening identifies risk; it is not a legal opinion. Trademark clearance and registrability opinions are issued by licensed legal practitioners in our partner network.

Why Oman. Why now.

The founders are already here. The infrastructure around them is not.

Oman is producing new enterprises at a rate its professional services layer has not caught up with. That gap is the market GBN is built for.

267,535

small and medium enterprises in the Sultanate of Oman, H1 2026

19,267

Entrepreneurship Cards issued in the first half of 2026 — roughly one every fourteen minutes, around the clock

RO 9.2bn

contributed to national GDP by the SME sector — 21.8% of the economy

136,459

enterprises registered in the Riyada database, of which 116,195 are micro enterprises

Sources: Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Riyada) and national statistics, H1 2026 reporting.

A market moving faster than the services around it

Oman Vision 2040 places private-sector growth and entrepreneurship at the centre of national economic policy, and the 2026–2030 SME plan extends that commitment. The Invest Easy portal has made incorporation genuinely accessible, and recent reforms have widened the range of activities open to full foreign ownership.

The result is a rising volume of founders who can now register a company quickly — and who then face the far harder problem of turning a registration into a business that looks, operates and competes like a real one.

That second problem has no owner. GBN is claiming it.

Who we build for

  • First-time Omani founders turning an idea or an Entrepreneurship Card into a trading company
  • Established SMEs whose identity and digital presence have fallen behind the business
  • GCC and international entrants establishing an Omani presence and needing a local counterpart who owns the whole file
  • Investors and incubators who need portfolio companies launch-ready to a consistent standard
  • Professional firms — legal, audit, advisory — whose clients need everything the firm does not provide

How it works

The GBN Launch Path

Five stages, one project manager, one schedule. Every stage ends in something you own — not a status update.

  1. 01

    Hour 0–1 · Discovery

We understand the business before we name it

A structured founder session covering the activity, the intended structure, ownership, the market you are entering and the ambition behind it. We map what you actually need — and tell you plainly what you do not.

You receive: a written Launch Brief — scope, structure recommendation, timeline and fixed price.
  2. 02

    Hour 1–8 · Name & Structure

Names are tested against all four locks before you commit

We generate and screen candidate names in Arabic and English, run the Four‑Lock Name Check on each, and present a shortlist with the evidence attached — register admissibility, domain status, handle availability and trademark conflict signals.

You receive: a shortlist with a screening report per name, and a recommended legal structure and licence pathway.
  3. 03

    Hour 8–16 · Secure

The legal identity and the digital identity are secured together

The registration pathway is executed through our licensed Omani partners. In the same window — not after it — we secure the domain, the business email and one unified username, so the company that exists on paper and the company that exists online are the same company.

You receive: registration progressing, domain and handles secured in your name, credentials documented.
  4. 04

    Hour 16–22 · Build

Identity, website and operating documents, built in parallel

Your visual identity, brand book, website or landing page, social presence and template library are produced simultaneously by dedicated teams — not queued one behind the other. Everything is delivered bilingually and reviewed against a single brand standard.

You receive: identity system, live site, social presence, and the full operating template library.
  5. 05

    Hour 22–24 · Handover

You own everything. We stay reachable.

A structured handover: every asset, every credential, every source file, transferred into your ownership with nothing held hostage. You also receive a 90‑day priority plan — what to do first, and in what order, once the company is live.

You receive: the full asset and credential vault, brand book, 90‑day plan, and Knowledge Bank access.

Indicative timeline for a standard commercial activity. Government approval times are determined by the relevant authorities and by activity type; regulated activities requiring additional permits will extend stage three. Your Launch Brief states the timeline committed for your specific case.

Twenty-four hours, timed against the harbour.

The Riyada Knowledge Bank

The world's best business thinking — made usable here.

A permanent library, in Arabic and English, that turns the most important business books into something a working executive can actually apply on a Tuesday morning in Muscat.

Executives in the Gulf are not short of content. They are short of time, short of Arabic-language depth, and short of material that accounts for the regulatory, cultural and structural realities of doing business in this region. Global business publishing is written for a reader in Boston or London. The Knowledge Bank rewrites the conclusion for a reader in Muscat and every other Gulf capital.

Every title is produced in three layers, in both languages, and is designed to be consumed in about forty-five minutes.

01

Condensed Executive Edition

النسخة التنفيذية المكثّفة

The complete argument at 10–15% of the original length. Structure, evidence and conclusions preserved; repetition, anecdote and padding removed. Always fully attributed to the original author and title.

02

Executive Critical Reading

القراءة النقدية التنفيذية

What still holds true, what has not aged well, and where the author sounds more certain than the evidence allows. Written so a decision-maker knows what to trust before acting on it.

03

Regional Application Guide

دليل التطبيق الإقليمي

How the thesis behaves under Gulf conditions — family-business governance, the local labour market, regulation, capital structure, and alignment with Oman Vision 2040. This is the layer no publisher writes.

The Partner Network

We do not pretend to do everything. We are accountable for everything.

GBN is deliberately not a law firm, an audit practice or a printing house. It is the layer that coordinates them — and stands behind the result.

Regulatory and legal work is executed by licensed professionals under formal memoranda of understanding. Production is executed by vetted specialists. GBN holds the client relationship, the timeline, the quality standard and the single point of accountability.

Regulatory & Legal

Law firms, sanad offices, audit and accounting practices. Formal MoUs, defined referral terms, and clients who arrive briefed, documented and ready.

Production

Printing, signage, photography, fit-out and logistics partners across Muscat and the governorates — specified to a GBN brand standard.

Growth

Marketing agencies, media and growth specialists, introduced when the business is genuinely ready for them rather than at the moment of launch.

The door is open.

Why GBN

The difference is not the list of services. It is who is responsible.
